So I sit down to eat my school lunch meal as I do everyday and they usually play some music over the PA system during the meal. At first I didn't really pay attention to what was playing as I was intently focused on finally being able to eat. Then about half way through my bowl of rice I stopped mid-chew and almost blew white grains of rice all over my desk. Coming over the loudspeaker was the 'My Hump' song by Black Eyed Peas...... I shit you not. Anyway's being the only person who truly 'understood' what the lyrics were (I still don't know if anyone really knows what the hell it means....good call Will Ferrell) I had to sit in silent disbelief.

Anyways, the kids at the middle school I've been at this week are putting on a big cultural event this weekend for the parents and whatnot. I'll stop by and get some pics. They've been working like crazy after school all week on some pretty fun stuff. Hip hop dancing, power rangers type skit and other performances. It's pretty crazy how hard students work here. I remember just going to school, and bouncing right after class. Here everyone stays and works together on projects, choirs or other sports and events. Now I understand why many of my japanese friends have moved to or want to move to the states....generally more pay for less hours.

今、お金がねぇ〜　でも二つのいい事買ったから、大丈夫。まず、車をゲット！そのあと、スノボーのシーズン券も買ったばかり。それでスノボー所の道さっきわかるようになったから、スノボーの準備がOK!!! で、山形住んでスノボーしたい人へ連絡して。。。ぃいやぇぃやぁ！
車はまだ名前がないから助けてください！！！

To those who don't know, I finally got a car....! It's gonna make life here a lot easier (knock on wood) and a bit more interesting. It was a little weird getting used to driving on the left and having everything opposite, but the rules are pretty much the same so its not too bad. The streets are friggin' ridiculously narrow at times it's insane. My car is still nameless, so gimme some suggestions :P !!!

Its slowly starting to get colder here. Mornings are pretty cold and my apartment is fairly large so its hard to heat. Getting out of bed is becoming a challenge. Soon the leaves on all the trees up on the mountain should change and I will definitely be putting up pics of that. I also just got my season snowboard pass, so I'm psyched to go riding this year! the place is only 35-40mins away which is super nice compared to colorado's 2 or more hour commute.

Although I usually make dinner everyday I'm starting to miss working in the restaurant biz... I ate sushi the other day and fuckin forgot what one of the fish was.... I recognized the taste, I remembered how to prepare it, but I could not remember its name for the life of me.

Oh yeah! by the way, those of you in the states.... is Billy Blank's "bootcamp" big over there? I'd never heard of it, but it is fucking insane over here....anyway thats all for now...holla back!

スイカ・トラブル

じゃあ、六週ごろ前居酒屋のマスターからでっかっスイカをもらってアパートで箱に置いた。昨日までスイカを忘れちゃって、だんだんアパートが臭くなって来て、「んんん、ゴミの臭さじゃない」って思った。それで、アパートに小ばえも増えて来て、「WTF！？」という感じして、ついにスイカ箱をちょっと偶然に見直して開けて、多い小ばえが群れ出て来ちゃた。きったねぃ〜！さらにスイカがすごく腐って液体になって来ちゃった。それで箱がきたなく濡れていた。ほんとにやばい〜　でも、掃除でアパートきれいにした。じゃあ、これから、東京で遊びにいきます！
