ヤンキ祭？？

金曜日から日曜日まで村山の徳内まつりだった。すごくかっこういいまつりだ！この写真
は金曜日に撮った写真。その後金曜のよるパソコンが壊れて、土曜日仙台に行かなあかんかった。ぎりぎり直った。mac storeの店員のおかげでsaved my life... それで外ハードドライブを買ってパソコンのすべて内容をバックアップできた。パソコンを待ってる間に松島に観光しに行ってきた。ほんまにええところやで〜
These are some pics from the weekend. the first set is from my towns biggest festival called Tokunai Matsuri. Its a pretty new festival celebrating a famous guy named tokunai who was one of the original explorers of the Tohoku region (northern honshu island). the second set of pics is from when I went to Matsushima on Saturday. There are three major sightseeing places in Japan and that is one of them. Its on the coast just north of Sendai and is really a great place to go.
My computer crashed on friday, but thankfully there is and apple store in Sendai so I was able to have them fix it. I bought a external hardrive and finally backed up all my shit so if my computer really does crash, I have all my work on the external. It was a wake up call to get my act together and back up my work, otherwise I would have lost about 30GB of music, all my art, all my pictures from Japan and after.

It's been a pretty crazy month here so far. I havent really had too much time to sit down and write about it, but I was able to dump a few photos on Flickr which you can see HERE
Mostly lots of festivals, meeting new people, orientations, and prepping for school. Last week I brought in some California rolls for everyone in the office and they lost it... keep in mind way out here that kind of "sushi" is unheard of. Anyway, word gets around and the mayor wants in on the action. So I was politely asked if I could bring in more the next day. So I woke up bright and early the next day but had to spruce it up a bit. So I made a little variation of california roll, and caterpillar roll (eel and cuc inside, topped with avo) and very reluctantly served the mayor this meager spread. The mayor is quite a character. Instead of a neck tie he rocks the cowboy bola thing and speaks in a heavy dialect that is near impossible to decipher. Yet somehow we get along well. So after that, he took me and a few others out for real sushi and dining. Very nice. Everyone was very surprised when I denied their offers for going out, explaining that I had dinner plans with the mayor.... :P

東京 TOKYO

じゃあ、村山に帰った〜めっちゃ疲れた。東京はすごく楽しかったけど、暑すぎた！一昨日は４０度だったかも。三年ぶり会わなかった友達とよく遊んでた。やっと携帯を買えた！！！それで東京に友達を待っていた時とこ携帯でテレビ見えた。ほんまにすごい、日本の携帯が。
ディジカメを持って来てもあまり写真を撮らなかったから、このブロッグはつまらない〜。昨日お相撲に見に行って、カメラを忘れちゃってまた写真撮らなかったけど携帯で写真撮ってちょっと遠い。。。
じゃあ、次回にみんなもっと連絡の準備します。お、もう一つある、やっぱりKrispy Kremeの店が東京に着いてびっくりした！行列がな〜がかった。みんなは４０度の天気に１−２時間待っていた。「マジで！？」って思った。そんなにおいしくないと思ってるから時間もったいないじゃない？
Aaagh, finally arrived back in Murayama. After taking the night bus and missing my train, I'm pretty tired. But I finally got a cellphone, so my life is starting to move towards a more civilized way of life. Plus I can watch TV on it :P
Met up with Yuta and Jun the first night, and from then on it was pretty much five days of drinking, sightseeing, meeting friends and trying to escape the heat. I was surprised to see that Krispy Kreme has now opened in Tokyo and people were cuing up for like two hours. I cant take credit for the picture, seeing as how I never remember to bring my camera and only took about five pictures the whole time I was in Tokyo. Shoganai~
Well thats about it for now. Oh, yeah, I saw a sumo match as well, that was really fun. and I will try to upload a video.

週末

じゃあ、みんなへ週末の予定です。山形県からナイト・バスで東京に行って土曜日の（１１日）朝に到着します。それで、水曜日（１５日）帰るつもりです。それ前に携帯電話を得るといいな〜　携帯まだなかったら連絡して頑張ります。じゃあみんな元気で、その上時に遊びにいきましょう！

日曜日、山形県山形市の「花笠まつり」に参加しました。おどりは簡単だけど練習はちょっと足りなかった。とにかくすごく楽しかった！山形市まで村山市から車で三十分しかかからないから、車を買ったらよく行くつもりだ。山形市はボルダーと姉妹都市だからあまりさびしくならないかもな。村山市はね、小さい町だけど、みんなはめっちゃやさしくていつもお世話になってる。こっちに電車とかバスをみんなあまり乗らないから、たぶんオレは車を買った方がいい。それで、冬時に自分でスノボーしにいけるんゃあ。
今、まだ携帯がないからパソコンで連絡をしてるが、携帯番号を得たらみんなに教えるよ！じゃ、とりあえず以上。
Hey Folks, here's a little clip from a festival in yamagata city that I got to participate in. Its about 30 mins from my town by car and it's sister cities with Boulder, CO! With all the mountains and snowboarding, I dont think I'll get too lonely, but I think it snows way more here than colorado...
I'll probably set up some slide show on the web so people can see more pics. this is not really the best way to upload a ton of pics so...
Anyway all is good here, gonna get a car soon cuz no one really rides the bus or train.
Well, I gotta send this before my computer dies and I will send everyone my cell number when I get one.
